Project of the Month: November 2015
Homeowner wanted to build an outdoor living room that blended with neighborhood's strict guidelines per Historic District requirements. We came up with a closed gable design with painted T&G and built out beams to complement the existing plantation style. The fireplace was built taking into consideration existing design with a two tier format to be able to add in stone with cohesive trim carpentry with the option to "close off" the television when not in use. We installed a grey pvc deck which tied into existing foundation with white accent trim and rail. Additional stone firepit and travertine pad installed to create additional outdoor living space. Finally, a small outdoor kitchen space was added with stone and granite counters.
