Project of the Month: June 2015

The homeowner was wanting an outdoor space that allowed for them to enjoy their wooded backyard year round. We created a space with an open gable roof with a vaulted tongue and groove stained ceiling with cedar beams. The all masonry fireplace has a reclaimed Hemlock mantle. The flooring is a Versailles travertine tile. The outdoor kitchen has a granite countertop with a glass backsplash. The counter is spacious to allow for both prep and serving space. There is a 30” RCS grill with matching stainless and refrigerator. The biggest challenge was making such a large space warm and inviting, but we accomplished that with warm colors on the ceiling and a layout that allows for separate dining and relaxing areas.
