Project of the Month: January 2016
Homeowner had existing outdoor kitchen and patio that was built original to the home. They wanted additional space to relax and entertain that faced the pool. They chose a traditional space with modern appeal, and appeared to be original to the home. The fireplace was chosen to be the focal point of the structure.
We elevated the patio cover to add dimension and to give a unique perspective of their back yard living area. Due to the elevated height of the structure, we included a wrought iron railing to enclose the structure.
Stamped concrete is in a tile pattern to continue the pattern and color that is currently around their pool. Tile roof was an exact match to the roof on their home. Stacked stone for facing and heath of fireplace. They wanted the columns to be of considerable substance so we did them as concrete.
Ceiling was sheet rock with a texture and paint that was matched by our painter to their existing ceiling. Ceiling fans were added for comfort of Houston's summer heat. Recessed lighting was added to make the perfect setting for any occasion!
