The top-up of a 1960's bungalow for the creation of a 6-bedroom dwelling. The main floor was largely preserved, but opened up and finishes tied into the existing preserved finishes for a more open-concept feeling. The splitting of mechanical systems creates true zoning between floors, while the exterior was unified with updated brick, stone and James Hardie cement cladding for improved depth and texture from the curb. The project from start to completion took 6 months.
