Awarded prestigious title of "Best Innovative Renovation" by BILD in 2020.
Design-build of an addition and fullsome remodel to a 1942 bungalow in Chaplin Estates, on the upper edge of Forest Hill. The new addition sat atop the original footprint, while the renovation of the existing home was as fulsome as could be, correcting existing structural issues and updating all mechanical, electrical and plumbing services, as well as completely revamping the building envelope, all with a view to green technologies and sustainability. A whole home backup energy system was installed with a full solar panel array on the roof. The front door is green as a hint to those crossing the threshold of what to expect on the inside!
