The second phase project for this Toronto client. First phase addition completed in 2006. A basement underpinning project to create an 8ft ceiling, new hydronically heated floors make the space feel clean, contemporary and warm. Off the shelf Ikea cabinets were built in and services relocated to maximize space. Structural beams and columns were replaced to minimize impact on the living area. Mechanicals were downsized for efficiency in space and energy performance.
