A dark and low basement and workshop were phase 2 of renovation projects for this client. Located in Riverdale in Toronto means every square foot is valuable space not to be wasted. The plan involved a full gut, breaking of the slab, treating for termite (huge nests under slab), fully insulating, installing new high efficiency boiler, furnace and AC and then fitting out the space for secondary kitchen, cabinets for neat storage, relocation of the bathroom and setup of a fantastic workshop space for her home woodworking project. The result is a clean space with ample storage and work area, all warm, comfortable and efficient!
