Here we chose teak veneer as a warm contrast to the yellow Chettinad floor, and added painted green glass panels to echo the colour of the floral motifs

Pale yellow-beige maple shutters echo the yellow motifs and contrast well with the red Chettinad floor. A slim strip of tile inlay repeats the floor colours

Here once again, lively knotted pine (a great choice for kids' rooms) contrasts well with the green Chettinad floor, while echoing the yellow motifs

A wardrobe placed close the the previous one, but with combination sliding/hinged shutters. The sliding section was to allow space to walk down the narrow passage, but where the passage widened out towards the entry point, hinged shutters were used
