Almost all of the design work and decisions for this project were done online, because this young family lived in Singapore, while their home under construction and their designer were in Bangalore.

There was quite a bit of civil work.. the door and front wall of the kitchen didn't allow for much natural light to enter, so we removed the door, knocked down the wall and stepped it at the entrance to make it interesting. Then we panelled that entrance to create a dramatic outline of the square archway and the stepped wall. The loose furniture came next- the quaint post box red crockery unit, sofas, armchairs. coffee table, curtains, lighting...
