Sobha Forest Edge

A smart flat in the beautifully laid out Sobha Forest Edge. The method of construction didn't allow for any changes on the walls, for instance the kitchen dado (my favourite part of any project) and the moving/addition of electrical points. But to give the space a lift, we changed the flooring in the kitchen and master bedroom, and found a way around the electrical restrictions. The home owner whose mind was always always abuzz with ideas, worked very closely with me on this one. My favourite part is the puja console, which doubles as a room divider between the dining and kitchen. We created double fold doors for this unit to allow them to be opened fully and folded back against the sides, so that there would be no obstruction to the now reduced kitchen entrance

These beautiful handles were purchased online, but were polished a deep reddish brown that clashed badly with the dark middle panel of the wardrobe. So we scraped it down and exposed its natural warm wood tone
