Gurgaon

This couple found me on Houzz, all the way from Gurgaon. It was a terrific opportunity and a challenge to monitor and guide the contract team in Gurgaon - carpentry, civil, electrical and plumbing.. even false ceiling and wall painting. Some of the supervision was done at site. But in the interim periods, all instruction was done long distance via calls, whatsapp video chats etc. There was everyday interaction with the clients, and regular brain-storming every time I flew in. The lady of the house had very clear ideas about how she wanted her home to look. It was a long road from the initial drawings to the final design, but well worth the effort!

The entrance door was a standard flush door with no detailing. We added a sheet of veneer of each side, to create a panelled effect and inserted a CNC cut, decorative panel. This motif repeats in the puja room and the partial room divider in the living room
