I have always loved natural textures- terracotta, brick, stone and wood. I have never been one for buying everything at one go, or using matching wood for all the furniture. I prefer to splurge on a few special pieces, and keep the rest simple so that they can be replaced if required without too much heartache. So this is our family home- a 20 year old house which keeps changing as we, our kids, pets and garden grow. This has been the weekend space for the kids' friends too, and also home to a procession of pets. I keep updating the pictures because the garden keeps changing too!
