The residence, in the heart of the Texas hill country, has an exterior reminiscent of a Tuscany village, but hides a contemporary interior showcasing the client’s extensive art collections in an underground art gallery. The residence has an abundance of unique rooms for entertaining and living, each fitting the character of its owner. One space especially important to the owner is the master bathroom, which was designed as a luxurious sanctuary. With an intricately tiled walk-in shower, an elevated bathtub surrounded by windows and a dominant chandelier centerpiece, the space succeeded in creating the grandeur requested by the client.

Oversized mirrors and windows are ideal for this timeless, monochromatic bathroom in order for the natural light to reflect and shine throughout the hanoi pure white marble countertops and mosaic tile floor. The dark wooden beams seen overhead nicely hint to the warm kitchen island as the geometric stainless steel light fixture adds for an interesting art piece.

This area was originally the kitchen but the space has been re-designed to create a wide corridor between the rear and front entrances of the house. Made to measure matt lacquered wood cupboards, painted in light taupe create a complete wall of valuable storage. Good lighting is key in these busy transitional areas so both decorative pendant and ceiling lamps have been specified to create a soft effect. Floors are white-washed, textured wood effect ceramic tiles with Emperador marble effect inserts. The mirror has been carefully positioned to reflect light. All the furniture is bespoke and available from Keir Townsend.

This pretty dining/ eating area is a tranquil mix of linen chairs, a rough hewn table and a pretty painted sideboard. Electic decorative items bring a spark to this special space.

To create a neutral, calm space for showering Keuco 'Edition 11' products were chosen. A wall mounted vanity unit in anthracite incorporates a ceramic basin and basin mixer above which, a Villeroy and Boch mirror cabinet is positioned.
