The house had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open plan living and kitchen space.

We brightened up this 10-year-old house on a modest budget. We lightened the kitchen countertops and backsplash tiles to contrast with the existing cabinetry and flooring. For the steam shower, we carried the matte grey porcelain tiles from the floor onto the walls for a really continuous, cohesive feel. A simple, black mosaic tile creates a bold contrast in the space while maintaining a sleek and modern aesthetic. We completed the design with custom glass doors and polished chrome plumbing fixtures.

Above the desk, we introduced open shelves to provide a space for styling personal accessories that help the office feel personal.

Our client needed a creative way to update and utilize this space. We love how it turned out!

Warm wood tones in the modern kitchen anchor the apartment design. The skylight over the dining area brightens the space. In the bathroom, natural stone lends a masculine feel. A shower niche and niche by the sink offer a place for toiletries.
