This kitchen design in a whole house remodel in Palo Alto started with the sunburst kitchen clock.

Elegant line and beauty in materials comprise this classic contemporary home. A tailored glamour is realized in every refined detail. The Kitchen transitions seamlessly into adjoining living spaces via curved settees and an elegant round table of Macassar Ebony.

Four swivel chairs in petit, hand-blocked print are situated around a reclaimed iron and wood coffee table. Root stools serve as drink tables between the chairs. A turquoise sofa completes the seating. Being an island home, the seagrass rug adds the casual tone to the over design. The barstools were selected to add to the overall design of the living room. Their style, finish and zebra upholstery work with the overall room. They are part of the living room more than they are part of the kitchen.

The kitchen is simple and elegant in colour. Light polished porcelain tiles line the floor of this style, whilst the dark timber features in the cabinetry are used to enhance the bold oversized pieces of furniture in the home.

Sustainable Kitchens - The Vine House. Beautiful island painted in Little Green Grey Teal with a polished concrete worktop. The induction hob has a built in extractor fan. The copper carlisle bar stools are a perfect addition for a breakfast bar. The vintage hanging pendant lights above add a subtle industrial element. The pitched oak ceiling along with the large windows create a lovely space full of light. Limestone flooring blend in with all the other elements seamlessly ​A wall of glass frames a beautiful view and brings the outside inside. The minimalist approach continues down to the smallest details such as the thin frames for the glass panels. Non-intrusive and totally perfect for this wonderful new build.
