An abundance of living space is only part of the appeal of this traditional French county home. Strong architectural elements and a lavish interior design, including cathedral-arched beamed ceilings, hand-scraped and French bleed-edged walnut floors, faux finished ceilings, and custom tile inlays add to the home's charm.
This home features heated floors in the basement, a mirrored flat screen television in the kitchen/family room, an expansive master closet, and a large laundry/crafts room with Romeo & Juliet balcony to the front yard.
The gourmet kitchen features a custom range hood in limestone, inspired by Romanesque architecture, a custom panel French armoire refrigerator, and a 12 foot antiqued granite island.
Every child needs his or her personal space, offered via a large secret kids room and a hidden passageway between the kids' bedrooms.
A 1,000 square foot concrete sport court under the garage creates a fun environment for staying active year-round. The fun continues in the sunken media area featuring a game room, 110-inch screen, and 14-foot granite bar.

The stone wall in the background is the original Plattville limestone demising wall from 1885. The lights are votive candles mounted on custom bent aluminum angles fastened to the wall.

A master bedroom with an ocean inspired, upscale hotel atmosphere. The soft blues, creams and dark woods give the impression of luxury and calm. Soft sheers on a rustic iron rod hang over woven grass shades and gently filter light into the room. Rich painted wood panel molding helps to anchor the space. A reading area adorns the bay window and the antique tray table offers a worn nautical motif. Brass fixtures and the rough hewn dresser remind one of the sea. Artwork and accessories also lend a coastal feeling.

We swapped the location of the slider and the 3 windows seen on the left of the deck. A slider used to be in place of those windows but was unsafe with no exit and not up to current codes. We saw an opportunity to swap the location of the window and slider. The sink now sits in front of those windows and the slider offers great indoor/outdoor access from the main living area, onto the new deck.

Copper Sky Design + Remodel
Located in Ansley Park, this 1928 historic home underwent a primary bathroom transformation, relocating it from the second story to the main level of the home. The renovated bathroom boasts a large dark wood stained double vanity, freestanding soaker tub, and luxurious walk-in shower with a rain showerhead. Copper Sky Design + Remodel achieved a traditional style with subtle finishes by using a neutral color palette and incorporating polished nickel accents. This newly renovated bathroom exemplifies an inviting spa-like aesthetic.
