This classic kitchen was designed using Art Deco inspirations. Custom white painted cabinetry is contrasted with a black island and two different types of granite. Granite and tile is inlaid into the wood flooring creating unique definition. Vintage lighting adds a dramatic yet elegant presence to the space.

Farmhouse Kitchen Renovation -- Amish-built cabinetry, roll-out spice racks to either side of 48" Thermador range, farmhouse sink, honed Absolute Black granite countertops, Tippu White granite on island (single slab 50 SF), Black Walnut island. Custom built buffet in front of exposed brick of original house structure has Black Walnut countertop taken from original wainscot that durning project demolition -- piece is believed to be up to 350 years old. Wine Rack is all Black Walnut with undermount wet bar sink.

This bright, eclectic bathroom features Super White Quartzite on the vanity, tub surround, and half wall. A refurbished radiator adds historic charm to the marble-esque natural stone and the vintage style tile selections. Custom espresso cabinetry and woodwork adds a luxurious contrast. This is one of only a handful of center hallway historic row homes in DC. Located near Eastern Market, this beautiful home was completely renovated last year. It had rented out to several students. The homeowners lived in a nearby house while a team of skilled craftsmen and niche contractors transformed the interior. Granite Grannies installed two kitchens, four bathrooms, a laundry room counter and two fireplaces. Except for two bathrooms, all the granite, marble, and soapstone was honed or leathered for a historic texture.
