This photo shows a mix of 3'-0"W x 6'-0"H operable casement windows with 18"H transoms. Above are 2'-6"W x 2'-6"H fixed clerestory windows. There is also a 6'-0"W x 6'-0"H fixed picture window to capture lake views. On the right side of the photo there is a 3-panel sliding patio door with a transom that leads out to an expansive deck.
The windows are a fiberglass frame product called Utrex from the Integrity line of Marvin Windows & Doors. Fiberglass frames have excellent performance for the expansion and contraction of materials, as well as excellent durability and scratch resistance. The glazing spec is an insulated glass system with the 366 LoE option for higher energy performance. Window trim is a custom millwork installation and is painted white to match the Stone White color that was selected for the window frames.
Feel free to contact me with any other questions about the project.
