HI RinaI do agree I love jewelbox rooms, but I consider them more cosy ... and with a grey marble floor it goes all Versace Italianate! I am trying to balance the colours by bringing in a pattern on the covers rather than plain. I feel this will bring colour without overpowering the room. In the pictures I showed above, the rooms are basically neutral but the colour is brought in via pattern - I think this might be the way to go...Ideally a green or blue on a subdued grey would be the best, but I dont know what the market is like for Sumit...Cushions can do a lot to tie in the other white/grey elements.Shelley - navy is a good suggestion, but as Sumits area is quite tall and thin, trying to keep the general area light Any more suggestions most welcome. These are just ideas after all and Sumit will choose what works for the room in the end ;-)

Thanks, for the reply. Yes, I am hoping to feature the mdf on the wall. I am not sure like which one to choose and how to make it look better. I want to make use of the entire wall with cabinets. But, I am open to other options also. There is also a pillar next to the wall on the left side. I also want to make use of the space between pillar and wall (like glass cabinets). Needs your inputs, if you can share some images, that will be great.

Hi Ash! Since the size of the room is not mentioned, I would suggest you to check out this video. And if the room is small in size, I would recommend you to opt for TV unit with floating shelves, as this will save the floor space to an extent. Hope this helps.

Sree, There are so many products that can be used for finishing a TV unit. Laminates, Veneers, Glass, Charcoal, WallPaper, MDF, Duco, PU, Wooden & Stone Claddings .. just the few that come to top of mind. But what is that you wanted to understand about these.
