This beautiful custom home built by Bowlin Built and designed by Boxwood Avenue in the Reno Tahoe area features creamy walls painted with Benjamin Moore's Swiss Coffee and white oak custom cabinetry. With beautiful granite and marble countertops and handmade backsplash. The dark stained island creates a two-toned kitchen with lovely European oak wood flooring and a large double oven range with a custom hood above!

The island is designed for entertaining and prep work, with a wine cooler on one end and a large Rohl 30" apron front single bowl fire-clay farmhouse sink on center and a bar-height bar top. The chandeliers and the glass door hardware are the perfect touches of jewelry that complement the entire project and give it a formal appeal. Hand glazed field tiles were used to blend with the cabinetry and added glass liners with bronze metal inserts for contrast. Needless to say, hosting gatherings and entertaining in this striking kitchen are a joy.

Tile weave behind the stove with Alaska White granite

Our homeowner had dreamt about one day redoing her beyond outdated kitchen since they day her husband carried her over the threshold. Vinyl flooring used for a backsplash, dingy carpeting, laminate with no sheen left to speak of and mismatched cabinetry…. it was time to make it happen. A year’s worth of planning later, her time capsule became one dreamy kitchen. Functionality reigns supreme in this small, but efficient kitchen where every cabinet has a story to tell and a place to store it. Countertop space to the right of the stove was an added necessity for function and safety. The raised snack bar is perfect for day to day meals and the lowered countertop was a must for this petite baker. A new lighting plan includes recessed lights, under-cabinet and accent lights, while new lighting fixtures reflect the client’s sense of style. Dingy brick patterned carpet was removed making way for new hardwood floors toothed in from the dining room. An airy palette gained some weight with the use of larger details; the oversized hood, beefy turned posts, prominent apron front sink and a grouping of tall cabinets on the refrigerator wall. This elegant, classic painted kitchen was designed and made by Tim Wood to act as the hub of this busy family house in Kensington, London. The kitchen has many elements adding to its traditional charm, such as Shaker-style peg rails, an integrated larder unit, wall inset spice racks and a limestone floor. A richly toned iroko worktop adds warmth to the scheme, whilst honed Nero Impala granite upstands feature decorative edging and cabinet doors take on a classic style painted in Farrow & Ball's pale powder green. A decorative plasterer was even hired to install cornicing above the wall units to give the cabinetry an original feel. But despite its homely qualities, the kitchen is packed with top-spec appliances behind the cabinetry doors. There are two large fridge freezers featuring icemakers and motorised shelves that move up and down for improved access, in addition to a wine fridge with individually controlled zones for red and white wines. These are teamed with two super-quiet dishwashers that boast 30-minute quick washes, a 1000W microwave with grill, and a steam oven with various moisture settings. The steam oven provides a restaurant quality of food, as you can adjust moisture and temperature levels to achieve magnificent flavours whilst retaining most of the nutrients, including minerals and vitamins. The La Cornue oven, which is hand-made in Paris, is in brushed nickel, stainless steel and shiny black. It is one of the most amazing ovens you can buy and is used by many top Michelin rated chefs. It has domed cavity ovens for better baking results and makes a really impressive focal point too. Completing the line-up of modern technologies are a bespoke remote controlled extractor designed by Tim Wood with an external motor to minimise noise, a boiling and chilled water dispensing tap and industrial grade waste disposers on both sinks. We imported this Taupe White Granite directly from Antolini Luigi & C. Fabricators (Verona, Italy). The kitchen is in an historic home in St. Mary's County, MD. The Taupe White Granite has a marble -like appearance with a white background, soft grey lines, and bits of gold. The kitchen has bookmatched 5" granite backsplash, and the edge profile is half-bullnose.

This classic kitchen has a white cabinetry that is offset with a second, grey finish on the island. Overall, the cabinet style is traditional with an ornate door style. There is also a mix of natural and engineered stone, including a marble backsplash, granite countertops and a quartzite island countertop.

A representation of true traditional kitchen design. This stunning inset kitchen remodel features a mixture of Brookhaven II and Wood-Mode 42 cabinets. A mixture of finishes was used to highlight the island and mantel hood area. The perimeter of the kitchen features a Cottage White finish on the Reston Recessed door style. Cabinets go to the ceiling and are finished off with an existing 12" room crown moulding. Upper wall cabinets have clear glass inserts and cabinet lighting to illuminate fine china. Due to the 11' high cabinets, the design of the kitchen has a detachable and easy to store ladder. Decorative toe kick valance enhances the traditional look of this elegant kitchen.
