This home's bridge was illuminated from a lensed linear in-floor light strip to keep the ceiling clean. From the exterior, warm glows reflect off the wood ceiling from an invisible source. When crossing the bridge the singular linear source creates an unexpected connection between the master wing and the main house. The goal of this project was to upgrade the builder grade finishes and create an ergonomic space that had a contemporary feel. This bathroom transformed from a standard, builder grade bathroom to a contemporary urban oasis. This was one of my favorite projects, I know I say that about most of my projects but this one really took an amazing transformation. By removing the walls surrounding the shower and relocating the toilet it visually opened up the space. Creating a deeper shower allowed for the tub to be incorporated into the wet area. Adding a LED panel in the back of the shower gave the illusion of a depth and created a unique storage ledge. A custom vanity keeps a clean front with different storage options and linear limestone draws the eye towards the stacked stone accent wall. Using light flooring in the form of natural lime stone 12x24 tiles with a linear pattern, it really draws the eye down the length of the room which is what we needed. Then, breaking up the space a little with the stone pebble flooring in the shower, this client enjoyed his time living in Japan and wanted to incorporate some of the elements that he appreciated while living there. The dark stacked stone feature wall behind the tub is the perfect backdrop for the LED panel, giving the illusion of a window and also creates a cool storage shelf for the tub. A narrow, but tasteful, oval freestanding tub fit effortlessly in the back of the shower. With a sloped floor, ensuring no standing water either in the shower floor or behind the tub, every thought went into engineering this Atlanta bathroom to last the test of time. With now adequate space in the shower, there was space for adjacent shower heads controlled by Kohler digital valves. A hand wand was added for use and convenience of cleaning as well. On the vanity are semi-vessel sinks which give the appearance of vessel sinks, but with the added benefit of a deeper, rounded basin to avoid splashing. Wall mounted faucets add sophistication as well as less cleaning maintenance over time. The custom vanity is streamlined with drawers, doors and a pull out for a can or hamper. A wonderful project and equally wonderful client. I really enjoyed working with this client and the creative direction of this project. In this new European inspired home, the designers wanted to create a lively living and entertainment room by installing color changing RGB LED Strip Lights in the ceiling coves created by the ceiling accent blocks. The LED Strip Light is installed facing down, to project the most light possible. The design of the LED Strip Light ensures there are no hot spots and only a seamless linear light is shown. The lights are controlled by the Glass Touch In-Wall RGB LED Controller for simple color selection and color changing pre-programmed programs.

Justin Moorland. Solid Apollo LED. Here Waterproof Pure White LED Strip Lights were added behind the bathroom mirrors, as back lighting, for an incredible indirect lighting effect. The soft glow from the strip light not only adds to the modern layout of the bathroom, but also keeps with the simplistic design as no lighting fixtures disturb the well planned design. The Waterproof LED Strip Lights are easy to control and easy to dim for just the right amount of light. Here the LED Strip Light was placed along the edges of the back of the mirrors, and then the mirror was hung just over an inch away from the wall to avoid creating hot spots (where individual LED's are shown) for a completely smooth linear lighting effect all around the mirror.

This room was formerly a tiled cold space with angled walls, no storage and cables lying around everywhere. Our brief was to integrate an extremely large television and audio visual equipment, and to include a fireplace and interesting storage for objects d'art. There were significant challenges with the space, however the end result is a warm, inviting and seamless space where none of the telltale signs of modern AV technology are on display except for the TV itself (which is flush-mounted and backlit by warm LED strip lighting), and the sub-woofer concealed in its own housing but still open to allow for airflow. We incorporated four separate deep niches and wrapped each in textured vinyl, meticulously applied to ensure the horizontal lines flowed continuously, and lit them with a warm glow from concealed LED strip lighting. The incredible open fronted fireplace was selected to match the width of the TV exactly, and has is deceptively deep. We finished this with a solid granite hearth. Clever cupboards with push to open hardware conceal all of the rest of the technology and equipment. The room is furnished with two 4 seat soft leather chesterfield style lounges and fruitwood coffee and side tables. A large window streams winter sunlight in making the entire room glow.
