The brief was to re use the aeroplane light fitting -which we extended to take into consideration the fabulous high Victorian ceiling and to re use the rug and bring in a gentle transpot theme that will last a few years. We reinstated the cornice and ceiling rose ,lowered the sash window so the 8 year old could see into the garden ,rehang the door and put a tall radiator behind the door to free up all wallspace in quite a small room.Wall washer downlights light the wallpaper and feature led lights highlight the cabinbed.The original pine wardrobe was painted to soften the look.
