I do like the design. Quite a lot. It's modern and sophisticated. I really like the subtle detail of the base top being inset to create a reveal right under the sunmica top. I assume the width and length of the sunmica top is exactly the same as the base, it seems that way from the drawing. I like that too, it makes the reveal more purposeful. The short sides are best left plain as i think you planned. You don't show the short side so I'll assume the base connects at the top and bottom, and the field open. I like the antique polished gold for the base. I like it in concept, I don't know the room it will go in. You're very on track, so I'm sure that is the right finish for your space. For the top carving, again I like the deep brown polish. I think it adds more to the piece by having another finish. I'm curious about the overall height. What is it? Also, the table is large. Not huge, but large. I don't think you need to make it smaller, I just want to bring this to your attention so you make sure it will fit in your space properly. Finally, the mirror. Are you using a plain mirror? Smoked glass mirror or a mirror with a slight antiquing would be great.

OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

Thank you nagadeepti, but there is an issue, my father has already finished with the basic foundation,sump, and pillars when I tried to tell him about the option he said that its not possible to change the plan , Please let me know if there are any other option , i have included the ground floor plan as well ,I thought of swapping the bedroom to kitchen in first floor , let me know if its possible according to vastu since its north facing site with roads on both north and south . we have made slight changes instead of full utility in ground floor its only till kitchen , bedroom is extended to make 9*10, and kink for fridge is removed . balcony in second floor is removed . Kindly help if there are any other suggetion to make look house spacious. stairs to the terrace from outside has to be there. I know iam asking for more in a small space.but please help. finally this is the elavation we have decided on with a little bit of modification like extended balconies. first of all, Thank you guys for those valuable inputs. yes, as far as cleaning goes, its just been finished installing and I have asked them to clean them up. And also, I observed that the frosting on the glass didn't look that good, so I am going for the filming on certain portions of the doors n windows. - Is there a particular quality of films that I may choose for this ? - Yes, lighting is definitely the criteria I had in mind which can bring up the finish to this. And i am worried about this , as I did not go for False Roofing, bcos the ceiling is already at a low height. I should really refine my ideas on the lighting part. - the stairs are floored with white Marble stone..My mom loves it and the matting on it might hinder its beauty, but yes I will surely consider that as well.
