you need to get things cleaned for the end finishing look. ithr glass isn't clean. 2nd I can see paint stains of floor . 3rdly you will get what you want let the lighting get fixed . then you can see the real effect of teak work and glass glowing. :) well the living is room is looking good . rest the lighting will play its role also the way you style the areas

We recommend you to add some colors to staircase flight area like having a contrast colored mat in the landing area and also go for a chandelier at the center because it will help get that glossiness out of glass. And don't forget to clean the glass regularly. Hope this helps you.

yes, as far as cleaning goes, its just been finished installing and I have asked them to clean them up. And also, I observed that the frosting on the glass didn't look that good, so I am going for the filming on certain portions of the doors n windows.
- Is there a particular quality of films that I may choose for this ?
- Yes, lighting is definitely the criteria I had in mind which can bring up the finish to this. And i am worried about this , as I did not go for False Roofing, bcos the ceiling is already at a low height. I should really refine my ideas on the lighting part.
- the stairs are floored with white Marble stone..My mom loves it and the matting on it might hinder its beauty, but yes I will surely consider that as well.

Fazalji your staircase area is not getting highlighted. I suppose the colors of both walls seen in the pic are different. The glass attached to staircase looks bland. You can use some wood frame on the glass attached to the side (same colour as your ceiling) and also border the edge of the stairs with with same wood.

Thanks PriyK, That's pretty true. What you have projected here in the pic seems perfect. I may have to use the stone cladding on the wall for a brighter look.

And yes, I have LED lights fixed on the wall which i wanted to project from above. I will be using my family frames on that wall. .

ujnaik : The walls on the first floor are white and the below wall has pinkish shade(old paint).

Yes, I have decided to use a wooden frame (sleek) on top of the glass railing. The glass piece is too heavy ( 8mm thick taufen glass) and they have made many additions to support the glass already. And i don't want that to be glitchy. That is why i had not used it for now. it will add further weight to it.
