HI RinaI do agree I love jewelbox rooms, but I consider them more cosy ... and with a grey marble floor it goes all Versace Italianate! I am trying to balance the colours by bringing in a pattern on the covers rather than plain. I feel this will bring colour without overpowering the room. In the pictures I showed above, the rooms are basically neutral but the colour is brought in via pattern - I think this might be the way to go...Ideally a green or blue on a subdued grey would be the best, but I dont know what the market is like for Sumit...Cushions can do a lot to tie in the other white/grey elements.Shelley - navy is a good suggestion, but as Sumits area is quite tall and thin, trying to keep the general area light Any more suggestions most welcome. These are just ideas after all and Sumit will choose what works for the room in the end ;-)

hi I bought an 18"by 18" black granite readymade sink to be used in my kitchen as opposed to stainless steel sink . what and how do I house it on the granite cooking platform to ensure that the weight of the granite sink can be taken . what supports would a granite stone sink need ?

Farooq, There are some building bylaws that require to be maintained. Depending on the state you are in the law requires a certain gap between the road and the compound wall and a certain gap between the compound wall. I was looking at the requirements today. you will have to check them as per your state. I would advise you to leave more space for your back yard for maintenance and cleaning. Ravi, Are you planning just a small room or would you have a pooja cabinet as well in the room. You may need more space for a seated pooja arrangement and often you have multiple people while pooja.
