Can anyone help me with this layout plan to set this in a proper way

In this site the bungalow is been already made earlier. It is the 1st floor of it and everything has to be planned here on this 1st floor. I m very confused as i am a fresher student i would be happy if anyone give suggestions how to create this layout properly in a right way.

As per your Inputs we are suggestion you some inputs

-Look like 2 separate areas are created on 1st floor one is west and one is at east

West Side

-In west there are 2 joining bedrooms and One is double bedroom and one is single bed room room and there is common toilet at south side

-Then at south side there is another double bedroom then it has joining washroom

-In north there is lobby where is drawing room and kitchen is present

-Balcony outside the drawing room

East side

-In East there is double Bedroom with attach washroom

-In lobby there is drawing room and dinning room

OK... but the wire wont be lower as it is fixed now. The wire in the pics below is the wall facing each other. They were leveled on equal height but the beam on one wall makes it seem a little above. But i think you guys are absolutely right that up and down lights wont look good there. I think you are right about down lights lessismoore. Would it look good if i go with two different lights on opposite walls??? it would look odd right.

When you use the term "Duplex", you mean that it is a two story house, correct ? In the USA, the term "Duplex" means two separate living units side by side......but in other parts of the world it means a two story residence. Please clarily that you are talking about a two story single familly house...... If so, the footprint that your house will have on the ground floor will be approximately 1000 square feet. Do you need to park a car on the site or is parking offsite? If the parking is offsite, then you have lots of room for a two story, 1800 plus square foot house. The design will be dependent on your personal criteria, and it would be helpful if you could hire a local architect to help you with the layout of the rooms. It should be relatively simple once all of the factors are considered.

Mohammad. I understand your program. You may be lost in the details at the moment. Please do follow and trust the advice given here by all these people. You are about to embark on a reasonably expensive journey. Get professional help with someone who you can sit down at a table and brainstorm with them your ideas and intentions. There are Architects and there are professional building designers who are members of the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) who are well versed in projects such as yours. I personally love a design challenge. After 38 years designing homes and special use buildings I enjoy this type of challenge the most. I am in Ohio and may not be close to where you are but I am sure with a little investigation you will find the best design professional for you.

hi Abhinav, I have a few suggestions. I'm guessing there's a window in the living room. this can be converted into a u-shaped seating space as shown in the sketch along with 2 upholstered accent chairs which will help in achieving a classy look. you can add open or covered storage below the seating. A 4 seater dining table as shown in the rough plan cad sketch can help you achieve both a living and drawing space in the same area. Also, the passage has a wonderful nook that can be used in many different ways. place a winged armchair with an overhead lamp and floating bookshelves along with a simple wallpaper. Or you can also add an 18" wide wall attached counter there with stools, add some funky wallpaper with vintage posters and turn it into a diner! this space can also be converted into a mini Bar! hope this was helpful. cheers!
