Hi pankaj. Some lovely ideas above. Is that a door at the end of the passage? It strikes me, especially if you want to make the passage all white, that you might be able to give that door a special treatment to bring some drama to the end of the passage. That draws the attention to the door and away from the passage itself. You could just paint it a vivid colour. I think we tend to let our interior doors remain very plain and boring, when there is no good reason for that to be a rule. The one below would need some sort of backing for privacy, I guess, but I think to put metalwork on a door is a great idea that you could adapt in various ways. (Be aware of the dusting, though! Outside the rain will wash things clean, but not inside.) I like the first one on that site. It's simple and geometric, and could very easily be adapted without hurting the budget.

@Rock Doc: Are you addressing this to me? I haven't actually bought these tiles yet - when I do, I will definitely be going for the handmade ones. They're a work of art and irreplaceable in my opinion. However, there are also screen-printed tiles available in the market in more or less the same patterns; the workmanship is of course different, but you get them cheaper, and they're also more easily available. You could give that a shot. I'd recommend Aakaar Flooring Solutions - they're here on Houzz and are able to provide both the above-mentioned types.

Hi Pritha, As according to the above scenario you can go with some wall paints which can camouflage the holes and since the hole is big so you can use cardboard to cover the hole and paint that cardboard with the same color paint, bringing a consistency to the walls as well as it can help in contrasting the decor of the entire room too. Moreover you can also go with wall paper too as this will make sure that the walls get covered entirely and thus you can able to cover that hole too to its maximum extent. Of course in this case the Pipe is large but still a small opening wont be much visible if you use dark paint or wallpaper over the wall. A small opening downwards which allows the pipe to go through is unremarkable in this case Through this you wont have to worry much about the false ceiling i suppose. Ananya, Concrete. shelves are lesser costly when made along with construction. They need more space and offer lesser flexibility when you need to change shelf placements. The are very long lasting. Wooden/Plywood carcass allows you to change the placements when required and take lesser cabinet space. If done properly it will look better than the concrete slabs.
