Make a wooden or gypsum box &paint the same finish....or shift the ac over the box

AC installation is often a pain point for most users. What is the challenge in moving the AC such that it covers the hole made.

Often people want to cut the cost on paneling for AC. But let me tell you whoever did this only to cut the cost had to compromise on the finishing looks. Still if your budget doesn't allow then cover it with small panel square box and put 2 - 3 boxes randomly making a pattern on the wall. As that wall has shining color ...go for suitable color for the boxes making their door of beautiful jali work.

The reason why this was done and we cannot cover the hole is because the hole was already provided by the builder as the walls are RCC. Because of the false ceiling, there is now not enough space from top for the AC to cover the hole (at least that’s what the AC fitting guy told me)

1. You can cover them with a faux wood.

2. Paint the cord to match the ceiling. This would make it less noticeable.

3. If you have windows nearby, use curtains. This will somewhat prevent focus from the thick pipe leading to the air conditioner.

As according to the above scenario you can go with some wall paints which can camouflage the holes and since the hole is big so you can use cardboard to cover the hole and paint that cardboard with the same color paint, bringing a consistency to the walls as well as it can help in contrasting the decor of the entire room too.

Moreover you can also go with wall paper too as this will make sure that the walls get covered entirely and thus you can able to cover that hole too to its maximum extent.

Of course in this case the Pipe is large but still a small opening wont be much visible if you use dark paint or wallpaper over the wall.

A small opening downwards which allows the pipe to go through is unremarkable in this case

Through this you wont have to worry much about the false ceiling i suppose.

The easiest way is to move the AC unit to cover the hole. Please find the attached picture.

buy a empty wooden speaker box and place beside ac to hide the pipe.. just a dummy speaker box which is not operating
