Need help in designing my living room and kitchen

Hello everyone,
I am looking out for some ways to design my living room and kitchen, both from the perspective of functionality and aesthetics. Have a look at the layout below. Mine is mirror image of this wherein kitchen is to the left of entry and so on.
What would you suggest for this kind of layout. I am open to all suggestions and ideas.
Although I am looking for living room and kitchen only. But if your experienced eyes have any other interesting idea for any other room, I would be happy to hear them too.

Comments (1)First thing you need is a pad of graph paper to understand that there is no way the furniture items are to scale (exception could be the dining table) I'm guessing the kitchen is off to the left and the main entry is into the Drawing room? Can the wall be eliminated between the two spaces for more flexibility? - if so, the drawing room space would lend itself perfectly to a round dining table. Comments (5)Let your wooden beam be as it is. put your Led lights in the other direction ( two on each side in one rectangle , so the total will be 16 units of say 10 watt each Led.), as to balance the horizontal and vertical shape. Don't put anything on the wooden beam to retain its the beauty....See More
