@magspag Thanx for the advice. We wanted to save some cost by not replacing the floor tiles, as well as save by retaining the upper cabinet in its current grey shade. Guess we will go for all-black for the cabinets: both below and above the counter; and put in a new counter-top that contrasts--maybe, a light coloured granite or slate. either side step cabinets must be altered, a low king side bed with storage would be ideal here. even ur metal cupboard once get into the wooden cabinet the space above the cupboards can be closed like a easy loft till the ceiling. so all the clutter n stuff either in loft or bed storage and some in newly altered cabinets.. then comes overall enhancement, like proper curtains with hooks. and clean interior to enhance like cushion or rugs and most importantly some artworks. corner can be lite with a floor lamp..lot more area to play. thanks shradha shah beescheese design

Hi Farooq, you should go for wall paneling on that wall with a concealed door. The wardrobe can be a part of the unit in front.
