Help - Corner storage for my closet ?

I intend creating an L shaped wardrobe. The length along the north side 5 ft 6" & length along east side is 6 ft. My closets will be 2 ft deep and 8 feet high.

I thought I'd create a 3 ft x 3 ft corner closet space. This would create 2 wardrobe units on N and E side - on N side it would be a 2 ft 6" closet unit. On E side, it would create a 3 ft closet unit.

Given how tiny the corner unit will be I think it may only allow for double hanging on 1 side and single hanging on the other. I dont think it can accomodate shelves.

What i'd like to know

1. Has anyone created a 3ft x 3 ft corner space. Is it just hanging space or does it have shelves ?

2. How useful has it been to create such a tight corner closet ? What do you keep in there ?

3. Is 3 ft x 3 ft with 2ft hanging depth a bit too tight ? Any suggestions ?

My first question for you is do they have Ikea in India? They have the market cornered when it comes to smart and unique ways to furnish small spaces - and as far as I'm concerned, their specialty is clutter control! It would be helpful if you could post pictures so that we can understand your space a little better. I will say that, as far as paint color goes, the first color that comes to mind is white. It makes any space feel fresh and clean and spacious, and will make the smallest picture or cushion just that much more noticeable. In a small space this is good since you won't have room for a lot of these items!

Thanks a lot for your comment. I wouldn't exactly call it a walk in-closet. As you can see from the drawing, Its space provided for two single wardrobe (one on each side). Maximum width can be around 3.5 ft. The humidity point is quite relevant. The question is would it be possible to include a wet room in the space i.e. 6ft x 8.6ft. - considering I don't remove the dress wall. Wanted to get a sense on the possible layout. hi , i have designed more than 60 kitchens and with my experience it's extremely difficult to cook with stove in the corner of moved a bit to the right it would end up too close to the sink if the space is less and whatever you wash there are chances that it may fall into the cooking bowl .it would really help if you let me know the measurements of that wall .
