Vibe Design Group
Design by Vibe Design Group
Photography by Travis De Clifford
The brief to Vibe Design Group required a family home for the clients' two young children and occasional overnight guests. Timeless appeal and a flexible zoned layout were priority. As passionate cooks and entertainers, it was important that an expansive and functional kitchen be incorporated into the heart of the home.
Studio Sayer
Eco Friendly Project: All the fixtures and fittings were sourced locally and sustainably, the paint and all the finishes were eco friendly. The floors were all bamboo (they held up well by the way) and wool carpets. Crisp and white, clean and modern, flush with velvet sofas and cushions and other added textures.
O’Hara Interiors
A great way to brighten up a bedroom is with painted nightstands. In this case, we wanted to maintain a calming environment with neutral wall colors and bedding. To add a bit of cheer to the space, we upholstered two lounge chairs and painted both nightstands similar shaded of aqua. Martha O'Hara Interiors, Interior Design | L. At 166 sq ft, the size of the living/sleeping area in this studio apartment was quite challenging. We made it work by taking careful dimensions of the space as well as every piece of furniture before purchasing. Even the height of the printer mattered as it had to fit between the filing cabinet and the desk. The busy student who lives here had two primary needs: sleeping and studying. Upon completion we felt we met those needs quite well.
