This custom master bathroom vanity begins to feel like a hotel suite as you walk into the space. A full tile wall with mounted mirror framed mirrors and flanking sconces sit atop of the quartz countertops with inset square sinks.

The custom etched mirror is the focal point as you enter the bath. Red-orange pendants generate the color scheme. Fixtures are oil-rubbed bronze. Wash stand is a rubbed bronze rounded-square bowl. Floating cabinet is made by Crystal from port-wined stained cherry. Countertop is manufactured quartzite. Hardwood flooring here is the renewable Brazilian cherry used throughout the house. The large double vanity used in this design is wall hung to create floating effect. It provides great storage and the finish reflects the light beautifully which adds to the tranquil theme of this design. Claw foot double slipper bath with black lion paw legs and a waterfall tap stands under the roof window, which floods the room with light. The shelf behind the bath hosts the client's favourite books, candles and toiletries - everything for a relaxing soak. The walk in shower floor in porcelain tiles closely matches the colour of the wooden floors. Black only taps and trimmings afford this white walled bathroom with traditional features its modern appeal. A deep seat in the walk in shower provides plenty of space for a Japanese style seated showering and for all the shower bottles and sponges one may desire. The main bathroom was recreated in an authentic Californian bungalow style featuring tessellated tiles, subway tiles in a brick pattern with capping tiles, Shaker-style framed mirrored cabinet, pedestal vanity, older-style toilet with timber toilet seat and older-style accessories. The original stained glass window was maintained. The only modern variation was the streamlined glass shower wall.

J.THOM designed and supplied all of the products for this high-end bathroom. The only exception being the mirrors which the Owner had purchased previously which really worked with our concept. All of the cabinetry came from Iprina Cabinets which is a line exclusive to J.THOM in Philadelphia. We modified the sizes of the vanity and linen closet to maximize the space and at the same time, fit comfortably within allocated spaces.

A master bathroom with an ocean inspired, upscale hotel atmosphere. The soft blues, creams and dark woods give the impression of luxury and calm. Soft sheers on a rustic iron rod hang over woven grass shades and gently filter light into the bathroom. A dark wood cabinet with brushed nickel hardware is a high contrast against the white countertop and sinks. The light blue walls create a calming retreat.
