White Springs Granite @ Arizona Tile, natural stone granite from Brazil. White Springs has a white background with burgundy and gray movement, which gives it beautiful subtle character.

Our homeowner had dreamt about one day redoing her beyond outdated kitchen since they day her husband carried her over the threshold. Vinyl flooring used for a backsplash, dingy carpeting, laminate with no sheen left to speak of and mismatched cabinetry…. it was time to make it happen. A year’s worth of planning later, her time capsule became one dreamy kitchen. Functionality reigns supreme in this small, but efficient kitchen where every cabinet has a story to tell and a place to store it. Countertop space to the right of the stove was an added necessity for function and safety. The raised snack bar is perfect for day to day meals and the lowered countertop was a must for this petite baker. A new lighting plan includes recessed lights, under-cabinet and accent lights, while new lighting fixtures reflect the client’s sense of style. Dingy brick patterned carpet was removed making way for new hardwood floors toothed in from the dining room. An airy palette gained some weight with the use of larger details; the oversized hood, beefy turned posts, prominent apron front sink and a grouping of tall cabinets on the refrigerator wall. We knew that the idea of a semi-open floor plan would be ideal for our family. Space saving solutions started with the design of a banquet in the kitchen. The banquet’s focal point is the two stained glass windows on either end that help to capture daylight from the adjoining spaces. Material selections for the kitchen were driven by the desire for a bright, casual and uncomplicated look. The plan began with 3 large windows centered over a white farmhouse sink and overlooking the backyard. A large island acts as the kitchen’s work center and rounds out seating options in the room. White inset cabinetry is offset with a mix of materials including soapstone, cherry butcher block, stainless appliances, oak flooring and rustic white tiles that rise to the ceiling creating a dramatic backdrop for an arched range hood. Multiple mullioned glass doors keep the kitchen open, bright and airy. A palette of grayish greens and blues throughout the house helps to meld the white kitchen and trim detail with existing furnishings. In-cabinet lighting as well as task and undercabinet lighting complements the recessed can lights and help to complete the light and airy look of the space. Super White Quartzite along with Espresso Shaker Style cabinets were installed to bring this dated kitchen up to speed in style and function. The homeowner's love to cook and entertain and needed a durable and low maintenance product to meet their needs. Quartzite, a denser and stronger product than granite was suggested as it is highly stain and chip resistant. Full height application of quartzite gave the kitchen a modern seamless look and offset client's dark cabinets and floors beautifully. Our designer redesigned the space with re-location of refrigerator and island to give the homeowner's more counter and storage space. The island with laminated mitered edge is the focal point of the kitchen and is a definite conversation starter. Precision Stone Design

Contemporary Asian inspired Guest Bath. Beautiful granite slab shower with neutral tile floor. River rock paint by Ralph Lauren saturates the walls with color and sophistication. Black rectangle bowl and waterfall vanity faucet add to the visual simplicity of the room. White cabinetry keeps the room as open as possible in a small space.

This classic kitchen has a white cabinetry that is offset with a second, grey finish on the island. Overall, the cabinet style is traditional with an ornate door style. There is also a mix of natural and engineered stone, including a marble backsplash, granite countertops and a quartzite island countertop. The large island also has seating, a prep sink and plenty of storage.
