The expanded kitchen area is now a sunlit space for a young couple that loves to entertain and cook. The selection of range needed a hood that was more than 400 CFM. This required supplying make-up air which was accomplished by artfully creating inconspicuous vents under the cook hood.

Enjoy the view from your breathtaking kitchen. Despite the scenic view outside the kitchen window, it’s your Crestwood kitchen that takes your breath away. A panoramic mantel hood soars over the stainless steel range creating a stunning architectural focal point. Beveled glass doors twinkle in the early morning sunlight. A picturesque island stands amid the stream of family activities as you begin and end each day in the heart of your home – your Crestwood kitchen. Although Crestwood Cabinetry is crafted with quality materials and construction, it was the bounty of delicious design details that cemented your decision. Of course the delicate dent it made on your pocket book was a nice surprise as well.

This small studio has everything! It includes apartment size small white appliances, stunning colors (Diamond Cloud Gray cabinets), and great storage solutions!
Besides the beauty of the turquoise backsplash and clean lines this small space is extremely functional! Warm wood boxes were custom made to house all of the cooking essentials in arms reach. The cabinets flow completely to the ceiling to allow for every inch of storage space to be used. Grey cabinets are even above the kitchen window.

The key to creating an authentic Craftsman-styled kitchen is by embracing those details that embody hand-craftsmanship and hand-joinery. As a response to mass production and abundance of cheaply made goods, the craftsman design movement achieved prominence in the early 19900’s and recognized value in the work of the craftsman and artisan.
The handiwork of the cabinetmaker was idealized, and an appreciation for quality and craftsmanship was celebrated. Homes of this period were designed with an open, airy floor plan and a central hearth or gathering area. Woodwork and cabinetry became architectural focal points in warm, wood tones and joinery techniques were prominently featured.
