Rustic kitchen cabinets with green Viking appliances. Cabinets were built by Fedewa Custom Works. Warm, sunset colors make this kitchen very inviting. Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The cabinets are knotty alder wood, with a stain and glaze we developed here in our shop.

As members of a tightly knit community in Los Angeles' Larchmont Village, my clients asked for a relaxing front garden where they could watch their children play in the neighborhood. The tiled stairs were designed with deep risers to double as seating for friends and neighbors. Full of color and texture, low-water plantings were carefully tiered to keep the views open. Reverse ogee arch leading into the kitchen area mirrors the same style found across the main area at the fireplace and at the cook top area. The reverse ogee is often found in Spanish style architecture and therefore is seen in several areas throughout this project.

The owners of this New Braunfels house have a love of Spanish Colonial architecture, and were influenced by the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio. The home elegantly showcases their collection of furniture and artifacts. Handmade cement tiles are used as stair risers, and beautifully accent the Saltillo tile floor.
