Dalton Distinctive Renovations
The desire to disguise the mechanical room lead to a custom designed shelf which acts as the entrance to this compact space. It's a stunning feature and is the first thing one see's when entering this room.

The children’s study was an unused and uninspiring space. We transformed this space in order to function for the family’s needs and to be a cheerful, exciting place for the children to relax, read and do homework.

Normandy Remodeling
This open family room is part of a larger addition to this Oak Park home, which also included a new kitchen and a second floor master suite. This project was designed and executed by award winning Normandy Designer Stephanie Bryant. The coferred ceilings and limestone fireplace surround add visual interest and elegance to this living room space. The soft blue color of the ceiling enhances the visual interest even further.

This is a small parlor right off the entry. It has room for a small amount of seating plus a small desk for the husband right off the pocket door entry to the room. We chose a medium slate blue for all the walls, molding, trim and fireplace. It has the effect of a dramatic room as you enter, but is an incredibly warm and peaceful room. All of the furniture was from the husband's family and we refinished, recovered as needed. The husband even made the coffee table! photo: David Duncan Livingston

The space was designed for my son Kix Atticus. We are a soccer family and Kix is OBSESSED with the "ball". I painted the soccer mural background and the triptych canvas paintings. We kept everything low cost with shelving and dresser storage from Ikea. The locker nightstands were purchased through KidKraft. The soccer bed was made by Kix's PawPaw. He loves to show off his "big boy" room!

Photography by Carlos Perez Lopez © Chromatica. This has been one of our favorite kids rooms! We chose a transportation theme in honor of the toddler's father who works in the transportation industry. The trundle bed was custom designed to include shelving and "night stands."
