Blue in the Night is a fascinating stone. It has subtle layers of black and grey in tight pattern. This gives it the edgy look of solid black without being as two dimensional as an Absolute Black Granite (and without the propensity for fingerprint mess). But what makes Blue in the Night Granite so utterly unique are the sparks of neon blue scattered throughout the stone that look like illuminated sapphires or blue stars in the night sky. This black granite has a fantastic polish and it's reflective quality picks up on any accent colors in the room. So if you add red to the room, you will see red in the stone etc. The edge profile is ogee edge in some places and half bullnose edge in others. The circular table / island is a wonderful touch as well.

This vintage style bathroom was inspired by it's 1930's art deco roots. The goal was to recreate a space that felt like it was original. With lighting from Rejuvenation, tile from B&W tile and Kohler fixtures, this is a small bathroom that packs a design punch. There's an abundance of storage in this kitchen and the large peninsula design has added features, along with a nice overhang for seating. The black bar chairs compliment the honed finish and dark tonality of the Saint Henry Black Granite from our nearby Quebec quarry.

Black and white kitchen - with some well-placed red color for spark. Countertops are honed black absolute granite. The backsplash is a 2x6 hand crafted Walker Zanger tile installed in a subway pattern, and Herringbone pattern for the center. This is a very traditional, old world backsplash style and what a great impact it makes in this kitchen.

Dynamic Blue is a powerful stone with intense blue and deep burgundy colors. This kitchen has full granite backsplash and a matching windowsill to tie everything in. It is also sometimes called Brass Blue Granite.

This Los Altos kitchen features cabinets from Aran Cucine’s Bijou collection in Gefilte matte glass, with upper wall cabinets in white matte glass. The massive island, with a white granite countertop fabricated by Bay StoneWorks, features large drawers with Blum Intivo custom interiors on the working side, and Stop Sol glass cabinets with an aluminum frame on the front of the island. A bronze glass tile backsplash and bronze lamps over the island add color and texture to the otherwise black and white kitchen. Appliances from Miele and a sink by TopZero complete the project.
