How to use a wooden wall in the kitchen?
Comments (2)You do not mention whether you wooden wall will be painted or stained wood. Either way, there paint products you can use to properly seal and protect the wood either way. You should visit your local paint store and tell them what you are trying to do and see what products they recommend....See Moreplease help...hello i have one sofa set and 2 single bed one tv in liv
Comments (76)HI RinaI do agree I love jewelbox rooms, but I consider them more cosy ... and with a grey marble floor it goes all Versace Italianate! I am trying to balance the colours by bringing in a pattern on the covers rather than plain. I feel this will bring colour without overpowering the room. In the pictures I showed above, the rooms are basically neutral but the colour is brought in via pattern - I think this might be the way to go...Ideally a green or blue on a subdued grey would be the best, but I dont know what the market is like for Sumit...Cushions can do a lot to tie in the other white/grey elements.Shelley - navy is a good suggestion, but as Sumits area is quite tall and thin, trying to keep the general area light Any more suggestions most welcome. These are just ideas after all and Sumit will choose what works for the room in the end ;-)...See MoreSkirting on beige tile floor
Comments (3)Is there a base trim there? Is it some sort of rubber base or ceramic? I've attached a base I think would look nice, it is taller and has some detail. I also attached a door casing that is wider but clean lines. White trim always works. Compare your white to your floor tile, there are hundreds of versions of white- yellow white, grey white, beige white, greenish white, you get the idea. Try and stay in a similar feel. If your floor has a grey feel, look at more true whites or greyish whites,...See MoreNeed help with Kitchen Countertop- Cabinets-Hardwood floor Combo
Comments (13)Your choices don't flow well to me. The flooring in your photo is pretty (very dark...are you okay with it showing every footprint, smudge, and dust bunny? If so, that's fine). From all of your options there I would do white cabinets with the Himalaya White granite. But you said ignore the granite. :) I would go for the gray cabinets with white quartz everywhere in that case, but personally I'd worry about gray cabinets being very dated in a few years. Is there another quartz option that you could pair with the white cabinets that is light in color and maybe has some movement, like LG Bianco Drift?...See More15empress
