Hi there- Lovely place it seems you've got. I have two suggestions for you. Firsrt, if this is within your budget, I would try to move the Bath and WC over next to the master bedroom - right where the eat-in section of the current kitchen is. Then, you could extend your kitchen into the area where the bath and WC used to be, and it would be open to the drawing room. Alternatively, if that is not in the budget (that plan would require a lot of plumbing rerouting) then I would take down the little wall that closes off the kitchen and the little wall that extends the drawing room by the WC and bath. By simply removing those few sections you'll open up a lot more space!

Hello Pete, It is indeed tricky to select the laminate from small sample patches. We feel it is often misleading as the small section is just a 2 inch piece cut out from a 8ft x 4ft sheet. Depending on your location you can do either. Check on Merino website .They would show images of the full sheet and if you are lucky even real life application of the same. where do u stay... if ur really interested in changing ur kitchen in a spacious manner.. pls consult us for the same.. i will make more use of space with necessary electronics gadgets to be placed along with other necessary food items... Because whatever is the square feet we get in kitchen.. the fridge space and the sink space is dead to use, sink below space will be used for storing dustbin and fennel bottles,etc to store.. etc.. and if u dont have space for washing machine then that also will be used in kitchen if there is no space anywhere.. so basically make a list of ur requirement for anyone to work on it, so that they will give their best ideas on it..

I will suggest you to start with Bathrooms first. get the plumbing and water proofing checked. once you are clear that all the system is in place, depending on what look you want your bathrooms to be , you can consult an interior designer for material palate and designing. once your ideas are translated in drawings , you can get the civil and sanitary work done and you are good to go. For kitchen , just outsource it to modular kitchen guys, they will ask you your needs and how you want to set up your kitchen, they will take measurements and prepare a design / plans etc. and give you their material palate.. you can pick and choose your Colors and mood boards and within a month the assembling will be done and your kitchen will be ready.
