With white fixtures, keep your floors and all tile white or a stone that is mostly white. You can paint the walls above the wainscot (which might be glossy painted wood or beadboard, or you might employ a cabinet for the sink that was painted a very soft sky blue. One narrow trim piece of tile running through the white tile might be the same tone of sky blue. Then, add blue linens / towels / etc. [houzz=] Now, consider what other colors are in your home and select one that is clear and soft and lovely with white. You might use that color instead of sky blue. I used sky blue because it is the color of water and therefore always appropriate in the bath, but you can make the bath flow with the colors you have or plan to have in your home. If this was a master bathroom instead of a common or guest bath, I would shift the choices of stone and tile from white plus white to a lovely off-white, cream, or almond tone - like travertine. Hi Nishi, Beautiful furniture and a very cute cosy nest you have. To begin with replace your existing coffee table with a hard wood simple coffee table. Replace your cushions with an assortment of pink, turquoise and golden yellow in different sizes and shapes, this will add some brightness to the room.Replace the pictures on the wall with a big mirror as per the wall size and add a nice frame to it. On the shelf on the picture wall place the candle stands currently on the centre table. The stools can be replaced with a nice upholstered ottoman bench in a printed fabric as sofa is plain. Cover the entry door with curtains as well so that it gives an illusion of a single wall behind. Since the wall behind the bench is already textured do not put anything on the wall. Remove the white bench there, instead put two big white teracotta pots there of different height and put bamboos on it. Finally put a blue/brown shaggy rug below the coffee table to complete the look. Hope you find the suggestions useful. Its will be your sacred corner and hope it will bring peace, prosperity and knowledge to the family. That room is already very small in fact at 3200*2300 it is smaller than your kitchen ?Trimming a section from the smallest room to create Pooja room defies our understanding. The potential yellowness discernible in Simply White is because it is actually a more colourful white from the Yellow Hue Family. That little kick of colour can work well on ceilings, as that plane can often make a colour appear a little darker & more greyed anyway. So sometimes a choice of more neutral greys here have a possibility of ending up a little grey & shadowy. This is obviously dependent on the available light. Chantilly Lace is a more neutral white from the Green Yellow Hue Family. In character in balanced light it can appear ‘just white’, but in some light people see a hint of its inherent greenness, some might even read it as blueness. Again depending upon how well balanced the available light is. Super White OC-152 is that bit more neutral & so could read a touch more crisp again. Many people prefer a more neutral, crisp trim. It can give you more options for alternative wall colours, should you decide to repaint down the line. Neither Simply or your trim choice would be sat next to each other though, as the wall would come between them. I think the biggest concern would be sitting Simply White next to Classic gray for the reasons mentioned before. If you are set upon Classic Gray then I would repaint the ceiling and swap to one of the more neutral options. I would shortlist your line-up and sample upon board or lining paper in your space so you can move them around.
