Need help for deciding the living and dining area

Hi,
We have an option to swap the living and dining area because of the availability of tv and other plug points in both areas. As you can see, we have an open foyer followed by main door and then a living/dining combo. Any suggestions on which side the dining should be ( closer to main door or near the balcony ) and the possibility of partition is appreciated. TIA

Comments (3)You might consider also the space a round table has compared to a rectangular one. Usually, the round table of a 5 ft. diameter will not have a lot of room for 6 people to sit. It will be a little snug. Serving dishes will need to fit on the center of the table or off of the table. The rectangular table would offer more spacious seating for 6. Is it too large for your room? Coming to partition, may not be required because the available space may will look smaller. If u still want have then go for part screen partition as a visual barrier but not to divide activities depending upon furniture layout.- PRO8 years ago
