With your original pictures - I agree with larger rug. But I don't agree with comments suggesting the rooms are monochromatic. They are lively indeed. I think you are just missing some accessories! Art work on the empty walls - even just a single large dramatic piece is in order. In the bedroom on the white wall, in the living space behind the sofa, in the greenish bedroom behind the two beds. Those are instant areas where you can improve. But I think your spaces are lovely and well put together. Also I agree with the comment about table lamps - some of those would really add something, and your coffee table looks so empty - maybe just one gorgeous bowl, or stack some books. These rooms are 90% done in my opinions, just need a few finishing touches. Some of my rooms come out like this because the clients are not willing to pay for those last few finish items or feel they can do that part themselves...

I'd suggest dark red curtains if you need curtains at all -- the windows are beautiful as they are, and I'm not sure whether some kind of blind might not give you the ability to darken the room when you want to. On the wall, if you are real fans of any movies or TV shows, three big posters would be fun. Otherwise, I would still suggest using three pieces of art there of that size, all equal in size and somehow relating to each other. Three floral works, or three works in the same style, perhaps. I think a large plain textured rug in a light neutral from one of the cushion fabrics would tie the space together well. You might also consider a lovely low coffee table on the rug to lay out your snacks and drinks for serious media nights.

two basic issues your room floor is dull is that floor to floor carpet if yes then add a a smaller area rug under your table to get splash of colour, alternatively if you dont want to do that then add some colorful wallpaper behind the sofa. Where you have the table lamp add something taller like a modern floor lamp or a tall spread out palm plant. Take the table lamp and add to a side table if you have one. The second biggest issue is that you have a lovely modern sectional sofa and then you have paired it with a very traditional and very high coffee table that looks like it has marble inlay work done (cant make out clearly). This is not a good pairing. The coffee table is the right size but get something modern and a lot lower, a general guide to this would be one inch to 2 inches lower than the seating height of the sofa. As someone else mentioned an Ottoman that can serve as a coffee table in an alternate colour will also work. Paintings and wall art is something you can experiment with but unless you do something about the coffee table the room will continue to look odd in my opinion. Also some more shots of the room will help us get perspective.

Its just really messy right now. Too many colours and clashing prints. Is that Puja unit lime green? Or does it just appear that way because of lighting? Either way, it stands out like one more distraction. Pick one base colour add and add prints that go with that base. That TV unit HAS to go. So do that black metal coffee table and the carpet. I would suggest you go with a simple geometric print in the carpet. But apart from these obvious design gaffes, the structure has distinct possibilities, if you do a classic English style.
