yvonne, yes i guess we can use it in the dining. The dinining room is small and doesnt have any windows. the kitchen has a lot of natural light that will come across to the dining due to the open kitchen plan. We will be buying new furniture for the dining. We could buy a glass top table with wood chairs / wood table with wood chairs. The room will be painted offwhite similar color as the base of this fabric. All walls will be painted the same color by the builder, Afer taking possession of the house we can repaint it where needed for accent wall etc. Its an appartment, we live in India.

HI -- Well this is a nice floor plan but it creates problems . Because the space is all open doesn't mean you have to put the living room or the dining room where indicated on the plan . Also where you have marked for the sofa is not going to work there . Not enough room and in the way of getting to the bathroom etc, I do think you may have to have a free floating TV stand between the living -dining rooms . You could have the TV on the wall beside the kitchen and have the sofa facing or on the left wall and the dining at the front . I would put the TV on the left wall near the entrance and have the sofa facing it , leaving a hallway walking space behind the sofa . It's too bad the front entrance is on the left . If it had been on the right then that would be better flow into the center of the main floor . If you do decide to have the TV room divider where you show on the plan , keep it right over to the left wall as a room divider , then it won't cut the room in half so much and it keeps the stairwell open . Remember , you do not need to push the furniture against the walls .

I am looking for Glass Hob, Vertical Glass Chimney and Built In Oven. I am getting mixed feedback across different forums so thought to reach here (impressed with some of the pointed comments so far). I am planning to choose between Bosch, Elica, Hafele and Faber. Can anyone please help ? I need to finalize it in next 3-4 days. I am purely going by the brand name (plus my previous experience with Bosch) so preferred the following 1). Bosch Glass Hob 2). Bosch Built In Oven (though it has aluminium burner but the one with brass burner 'Hafele/Elica' has the problem of making utensils black) 3). For chimney they do not offer 60cm Filter less chimney hence thinking to choose between Hafele or Elica. Please suggest if this is the right choice. Thanks in advance

Hi Tanzil. Greetings, The plan is looking very generous. Nothing to criticize but a little thinking could make a real good plan for egl. 1) The hall could accomodate the dining area as well. 2) A single stair is sufficient enough to fulfill the requirements. depending upon where it is placed. 3) A lounge on the first floor would add the charm to the upper floor and a large balcony may be if possible. 4) Some vegetation in the interior could make it lively. 5) I f a small courtyard if not a hindrance into the central area can make it more inclined towards nature since it would be good for light and ventilation. There are a lot of other small things possible depending upon the requirements and the structural probability.There doesnt seem to be the column and beam overlay over the plan which would be also helpful in designing.
