Need inputs on decorative island chimney hoods
Comments (9)Sophie, Patricia you are right cleaning the crystals would be a hell of a job. Hence I would like to look at designs like the other pic I attached which is I believe from the e.ion range of Falmec. As I have mentioned before this is a second chimney. The primary chimney hood is above my gas job in the kitchen countertop and is the main and daily area for cooking. This is the secondary area which I plan to use for some quick heating, occasional stir fry etc. The pendant chimneys that I have come across in brands like Elica and Falmec do not require ducting. The filter needs to be changed every 6 months or more. With my kind of usage I am assuming I would need to change it even later. What I am looking for is different brands which have pendant chimneys. Right now I am only aware of Elica and Falmec. I know Siemens and Bosch don't have it. Siemens has 2 models which are like a flat rectangular panel to be attached to the ceiling or false ceiling. But the cost is same as the Falmec chimney. My only respite may be the cylindrical Isola chimney models from Faber or even Hafele which are ip within budget....See Moreplease suggest a chimney....
Comments (1)You can buy Kutchina straight-line chimneys with auto-clean technology. There are different models to suit hob size as well as suction capacity. They are good to look at and most importantly very easy to clean with a press of a button instead of the conventional mesh filters. Visit their website to see the details....See MoreNeed advice on whether to buy a hob or a free standing cooking range.
Comments (1)Hi! The decision can depend on the following: 1. Budget - If you can spare more and invest in one, I'd say go for the fully-integrated free standing hob+microwave oven. 2. Servicing - Since purchasing a free standing unit is not quite common unless you're getting the entire modular kitchen done, servicing the same can be an issue. 3. Space constraint - A kitchen hob definitely requires only your counter space rather than losing out on the whole vertical storage. Induction hob can also be a good alternative if you don't have a gas pipeline to your residence yet. Please feel free to contact us for further discussion. Comments (3)Hello there, I would suggest try researching with few dealers before zeroing in on one product. Do a thorough check online/offline as well. Brands that are well established and well accustomed to Indian Kitchen tend to provide better services and spares at much reduced costs. Their products have been refined through decades. Few are Elica, Kaff, Faber, Glen and Kutchina. Some newly introduced ventures are Siemens appliances, Hafele-Nagold, Hindware and Bosch appliances. They are evolving and might take some trial and errors to reach a steady customer base. So make a much informed decision before buying one as it is incredibly crucial to cooking, especially steam and oil suction capacity. Also, you need to look at filter spares costs etc. Regards, Aurum Ideas and Spaces Bhubaneswar...See More- 7 years ago
