I'm not against colorful homes. There's bright, and then there's too bright. I wouldn't go with persimmon for the whole house. The photo you provided has lots of white trim which offsets the orange, but your house doesn't have that much trim (unless you were planning on adding some, which I think would look good no matter what color you ultimately choose, but even so, I wouldn't go with persimmon for the whole house, as it's still too bright). To repeat what @nwduck said, the other homes in the neighborhood don't appear to all be done in the bright colors, and so yours would stand out too too much. I like @deco's idea of the bright door, if you really love a bright color. For the rest of the house, any more subdued color would be fine, along with additional trim around the windows, and assuming that your siding color coordinates with your roofing color.

I think i'd use subtle blues and/or greens against that brick, which i would use a sealer on to bring up the color a bit. White would be rather boring on the windows i feel, i'd use a darkish muted red or charcoal maybe for this detail. Such a pity to adopt boring western color codes when you have such a fabulous tradition for color in India. You don't have to go crazy on flashy color and can adapt it to a more modern feel. Hi Rahul Satija To answer your question, regarding which material to use for the outsides of your home Terracotta Brick - unless you have used bricks that are meant to be left exposed, ordinary bricks will take in a lot of water and leave the walls damp, and hence not a great idea. You could ofcourse cover it with a veneer of brick cladding but that is something we would not propose. Between wooden cladding and paint, it frankly depends completely on your budget. Wooden cladding looks extremely good but is quite pricey. Our suggestion would be to paint the majority of the home, with highlights in parts in wooden cladding.

No, not with normal day to day usage but accidents may scratch anything for that matter.However, PU paint is more likely to get scratches in comparison to other hard surface finish say laminates. It requires a bit mare careful handling if you want it to retain the look for a longer time. I am assuming cost cutting is your objective, you can select MDF for wall cabinets.
