Comments (44)I like second plan! That space will fit the wardrobe perfectly. Take all colors from the art. The colors can be lighter or darker than the colors you see in art. Take "Venice" with you to paint store and they might be able to help you choose good colors. Idea: paint four walls the same and see if you like that. If you feel the room lacks interest, then paint the accent wall. Choose a pale green that harmonizes with "Venice" and a darker green accent. Yellow + red accent White + blue accent...See MoreNeed help with choosing a dressing table for my room.
Comments (7)Your wallpaper might be the best feature for your dressing room and just let it show right through a clear acrylic dressing table.Or you could continue with your touches of gold on a new vanity or by using a bit of gold leaf on an antique one. Add a gold chair to a rosewood vanity to continue with your bedroom look. My personal favorite is #4 ,5 & 6 below. Love the curves and a desk will work too....See MoreNeed help with colors and lighting
Comments (7)Starting with the bedroom suites...have your bedding selected. Choose a color that coordinates. You can accent the headboard walls with a darker color and carry that darker color into bathroom on the walls, or continue bedroom color and carry the accent color into your towels and shower curtain. I would paint kitchen and 2 dining room walls the same color, selecting a darker color for the drama in the dining room and contrast with your kitchen cupboards (such as your green color). The other walls in your living room, foyer and hallway, should be your neutral color such as a camel or warm gray. This neutral is bumping up against all of your other room colors. So, it will make a good transition from room to room. On the bold side, you could find a great wallpaper for the two walls in the dining room. Don't forget to play up your foyer with furniture for that first look impact. Selecting your bedding first, allows you to tweak your paint color and hue, and the darkness of your color. Enjoy....See MorePros & cons of having the same tile in all bedrooms on same floor
Comments (7)I always suggest having the same floor throughout. It gives it a more ample feeling, consistent and not disjointed. As far as the walls go for the bathrooms we become more creative with special and unique materials for each bathroom and in this case each bathroom has its own personality .
