Hello Gopa, You can do a partition with plywood on wooden frame. Go for a door with hinges as there is no benefit of a sliding door in terms of light . What is your intent for having a openable vs sliding door. Please be aware that after making an additional room the living room will look dark and long/ narrow. You can have a transome on the door in case privacy is not much of an issue. You will however have to depend on artificial lighting in case a full partition is done. Try to keep a band ( designed metal or board ) around the sink on three sides , which can makes the water spill less on that three sides ....or try to keep a rectangular hole on corners around sink for slab which doenst look like hole and get a decorative cover for that, and connect that to the outlet at down...so that its easy to push water around the sink so that it drains... Or get an extra slab just to place around sink where water spills and place it on top of existing slab if you don't want to remove the existing sink and place...

This is a studio with a glass partition. I am wondering how I can make the place intresting. Behind is the bedroom. Between the sofa and sink is provision for fridge microwave. Opposite the sofa is wall for tv. NB: This photo is from Karencom.ke showroom. I plan to get one from the apartment and make an airbnb.
