yvonne, yes i guess we can use it in the dining. The dinining room is small and doesnt have any windows. the kitchen has a lot of natural light that will come across to the dining due to the open kitchen plan. We will be buying new furniture for the dining. We could buy a glass top table with wood chairs / wood table with wood chairs. The room will be painted offwhite similar color as the base of this fabric. All walls will be painted the same color by the builder, Afer taking possession of the house we can repaint it where needed for accent wall etc. Its an appartment, we live in India.

Please consider this reorganization of the spaces which makes the most off the area available. The dining area is moved from the dark interior to share the same area as the living room, across from the open kitchen counter which would serve as a buffet. The black volumes are false columns faced in stone or marble or any other material of your choosing to give the space some girth. This distribution of the spaces gains you a walking closet for the master bedroom. Its ultimate effectiveness depends on your needs. I hope this is somewhat useful.

Hello, Not a problem. Another solution is here that will give you a more walking space and also give you a extra sitting space near the window.also give different look than regular plannings of rooms.try this or try to put your wardrobe in bathroom..there's a big space. Thank You.

Thank you so much for your response - and the encouragement. What I can do is buy a beadboard panel tall enough for an entire wall and have HD cut this down. I may find this to be a good deal less expensive anyway, though kits are cheap. Quality, I'm not so sure about. I'll just get the best I can. When I look at the sites that truly specialize in good-quality beadboard, thiers are also thin cladding and 32 inches high, so customizing is the way I'll need to go. The kits offer moldings that are exact fits, and this is attractive to me because I'll be asking for help with this from contractor who I think anticipates doing dry wall. It's a gift job, so want to make it very easy. I think the panels and moldings cut to size though will not be a problem. I'll get all supplies and corner mold, etc. I wonder now about back splash above marble vanity sink. How do y"all do it in your business if wainscot extends a little above the sink.
