Most my doors were already here, but I did have one moved over, about 6 inches. However, the entire space was demo'd, and rebuilt, so that's not the best example to draw from. If you want the door hidden, in a pocket, yes, you will need a skilled carpenter. Essentially, the opening header and frame, will become twice it's size, with the "pocket" part, hidden behind the wall. The studs/supports will need to be removed to make a space for the door to slide into. Do you have any switches or outlets on the fireplace wall?

But that's a problem solver.for your important stuff To just feel more important..You can clear away the daily doable ssuch a shoe racks bed linen and other things and your storage as an e xtension for your open area...I suggest you to consider making a table out of it or having sit behind your bed, In that way you can make uss of it in somewhat reassuring manner.

One of my clients had no designated space for puja in their home, and they would have had to squeeze it into a passage somewhere. So when they came to me for ideas, I noticed in the floor plan that they had a beautiful covered verandah overlooking a private garden. The wall of that verandah was towards the east side of the garden. So I thought- why not carve out a rustic simple puja space here? Outdoors? The client was game. Hello, everyone! I had my kitchen remodeled in 2018. Huge remodel, down to the studs, etc. My husband recently noticed that on one large wall cabinet, the doors had become uneven. Upon inspection, the cabinet is sagging and seems to be coming apart. I've added some photos here to show the uneven doors, what the shelves look like, what we're keeping in the cabinets, and where you can see the cabinet coming apart at the top. This is a three-door cabinet -- two doors on the right and one on the left. I'm planning to contact our contractor who installed the cabinets, but I hope to get some opinions here: Does it look like the cabinet wasn't glued properly? Did we store too much stuff in here? Was it a bad design to have such a large box to begin with? Cabinet is 53" wide, 42" high, frameless, hybrid construction. None of the other cabinets show any such problems. Thanks for any observations, information or opinions you can offer.
